Trip Details - Essential Facts.

Fiji is located at approx 17 degrees South of the Equator and 178 degrees East in the Tropics. It is wonderfully warm with Blue Tropical Waters, bursting with Sea Life. Safari Lodge is based on an island off the main island of Fiji, Viti Levu. Nadi is also on the main island where you will be flying into. From Nadi it is a 2 hour trip by Road (Car or Minibus) to RakiRaki and Ellington wharf - our mainland base, located on the Northern Coast of the main island. It is also referred to as the Sunshine Coast, due to its sunny weather characteristics !

Safari Lodge has been operating in the Ra Province of Fiji since 1992. Its' history is woven around bringing Tourists into Fiji for organised Groups Courses, over the May / June / July / August / September periods every year. We are experienced in operating in Fiji and working with the local people, which we find fantastic. In 1997 we commenced our 12 month full time operation in Fiji. We commenced our Diving operation in 1997. In 2001 we launched the Ellington Wharf base of our other Water Sports, including Sea Kayaking, Sailing on our FUNCAT Catamaran and Snorkelling.

We catch an amazing array or varied Fish life during the various Fishing Seasons. Common species are varied between ground Fish, Reef Fish and a great variety of deep Fish. We offer three different styles of Fishing: Hand-Line fishing Sport Fishing Game Fishing The Costs vary between the different programs and are very affordable.

The 7 Day & 3 Day Fishing Trips are conducted twice a month. The One Day fishing Trips operate on demand, so please email us for availability. We are using two * Yamaha 25ft Open Fiberglass Boats with 60hp Yamaha Outboards and our Game Boat - Bertrum 21ft powered by a 150hp and 30hp auxiliary, centre console and Sun protection Bimimi roof.

The Ellington Wharf Coconut Cafe provides all the catered food for the Trips, ensuring our high qualities and standards are maintained in providing you wholesome nourishing and satisfying meals throughout your Tour.
