Safari Lodge Divers offer world class diving in the virgin territory of Bligh Waters. Most of the dive sites are no more than 20 minutes by boat from the Island.

The diving is world class; over 25 dive sites; coral walls, deep swim throughs, numerous bommies, extensive soft and hard corals and hundreds of fish providing a diversity of marine experiences seldom found in any one area of Fiji. We offer morning two tank dives, additional afternoon dives and Night dives daily.

Discounted Multi Tank dive packages available (please see price page). All levels of diver experience are catered for by our Professional Staff including learn to Dive Certification.

There are spectacular reefs surrounding the island with both soft and hard coral, an abundance of sealife and Fiji's only sunken wreck dive, the "Papuan Explorer" - just 2 minutes by boat from the resort jetty.

The water temperature rarely drops below 28 degrees and a Lycra suit is usually sufficient, however a wetsuit is recommended. Visibility, dependant upon the weather and dive sites, ranges from 20 - 60 metres.   Dive Fiji

For the experienced diver, there are over twenty five dive sites to choose from. The reef area around the island contain Pinnacles, swimthroughs, canyons, tunnels, huge coral outcrops and some of the most beautiful soft corals that Fiji is well known for. There is so much reef area around the island that new sites are continously being discovered.

For the new diver who wants to be certified, the Dive Club offers the PADI OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION course, which includes lectures, confines water training and four ocean dives over a period of four days.

Fiji Diving - The Maze

The Maze

A vast array of twisting and turning canyons, crevasses and swimthroughs, the sides of which are decorated with brightly coloured soft corals and gorgonian fans. A wide variety of fish life makes this dive an exciting one.

THE ENCHANTED CANYONS

About a dozen gigantic bommies (Coral heads) separated by canyons that drop to a depth of 26m. A wide variety of colourful soft corals and gorgeous sea fans. Lion fish hide in small openings and nudibranches and flatworms can be seen if you look carefully.

The Pinnacle

A huge coral head 28m high with a smaller one next to it, one side decorated with yellow sponges. Schools of fish, coloured soft corals and two swimthroughs on the side of the pinnacle allow divers to explore the inside.

Basslet

Safari Sunrise

Consisting of coral heads, swimthroughs and a sunken reef, patch covered in brightly coloured yellow soft corals, abundantly populated by orange basslets. Napoleon wrasse, sweet lip and the occasional pelagics patrol this site. The brightness of the corals is likened to a sunrise.
