In fact we are so focused on making sure you enjoy your stay, you have a dedicated boatman and Support Boat to make sure you are not stuck on the beach at low tide waiting for the water to come in....Safari Lodge takes you to off-shore reefs, upwind launching points for awesome downwinders all supported by your personal Boat. If your experienced you can kite from directly in front of Safari Lodge, however the other options we provide ensure learners and intermediate riders are not riding from the same beach....jump in our suport boats and enjoy Blue deep water at Kite Point, or long flat shallow areas at our learning spot....

Having two bases, Safari Island Resort and Safari Lodge - Ellington Wharf means you've booked with the right operator!! We have over 10 Boats offering different activities, so we'll take you to our "kite-point", sandy beach..where you can pump, launch and rip. We're serious about providing fun and good off water facilities combined with dedicated Support Boat Drivers will make sure you get the most out of it! We offer dedicated group times where you can join in with others and kite. There are weekly scheduled groups and limited numbers! If these dates aren't suitable and you want to join us to kite please email for availability out of these dates..we'll help you out!

Stay for a week, weekend or a month.....the choice is yours. Long Stay discounts apply. Airport Pickups and transfers are also no problem out of group dates...we're happy to help. Our 2 Safari Minivans and Kite Trailer will have all you gear stowed ready for the cruise up the coast to our facility.

Sea Kayak Fiji 2008

Our Sea Kayak Program for 2008 has just been finalised and includes 1, 3 and 7 day Adventures. Paddle in exotic azure waters, mix with the Fijian people and stay in their villages. Come and join us as we enter into the beautiful Bligh Waters, Viti Levu Bay, Malaki Island and the Nananu group of Islands for an amazing Sea Kayaking Adventure.

Seawind Sailing

Jump on board for a 1,3 or 7 Day Adventure.....Sailing the Bligh Waters on our Seawind 24ft Catamaran gives you a thrilling up-close look at Fiji at its best. Operating around the Nananu group of Islands, we cater for up to 15 passengers for morning, afternoon or all day adventures. Special Beach Drops to lonely tropical beaches, blasts round the bays or an Instructional Sailing lesson, we can cater for all your needs. Stay on Board, camp on a beach or be a special invited guest in a local village on our overnight cruises. Discover the beauty of Fijian Tropical Reefs - snorkeling, throw a hand line overboard and catch the evening meal...relax on the trampolines..you set the pace and the schedules!

Fishing - Game / Sport / Hand Line

The Bligh Waters and the numerous reefs within the local area provide a great opportunity for the various forms of Fishing.  Our range of Fishing boats include 23ft Yamaha Boats with Yamaha Outboards, 25ft Yamaha Boats with Yamaha Outboards and Bertrum 20ft Offshore hull with Centre Console, Bimimi and 150hp Mercury.   Whether its Game Fishing, Sport fishing or simply hanging a line over the side while your enjoying your friends company, we can take you to all the right spots.

Early morning sunrise trips, evening sunset trips, 2 hour trips, 1/2 day trips and full day trips ensure you get the right amount of great Fishing enough to wet your appetite to return the following day.

Snorkeling Adventures

Ever wanted to discover some terrific Coral Reefs? We have an array of Reefs all within max 15 minutes drive from our Ellington Wharf Base on our custom Snorkeling Boats with easy entry ladders.

Our guides will snorkel with you, pointing out the amazing array of colours and marine life that is awaiting you. Schools of tropical fish, descend on you for our Fish feeding trips and the variety of Soft Corals, Hard Corals and fan corals will leave you breathless.

We provide Inner Reef Adventures and weather conditions permitting Outer Reef Adventures

Scuba Diving

The Bligh Waters and Vatu-I-Ra are renound for Scuba Diving. Come and learn how to Dive (PADI Open Water Course) or bring your Certification card and go and experience Diving at its best....
